At last, we have finally made it past the dark ages of super-expensive low-yield dedicated ink cartridges to the age of high-yield ink tank printers that we can economically refill ourselves. I am so tired of paying $30, $50, or more for tiny cartridges containing only a minuscule amount of ink! In fact, one of my high-end professional photo printers uses TWELVE individual cartridges that cost $65 apiece or $699 for a full set!My newest printer has four refillable ink reservoirs that are quick and easy to refill when they get low. It probably holds at least five times as much ink as those pesky old cartridges and a full set of ORIGINAL Canon ink is only about $55!But keeping my ink bottles together and always handy isn't always easy for some reason. I’ve often had to hunt around trying to locate one or two of them. So when I saw this Acrylic Sublimation Ink Bottle StandI knew it would be a great solution.It is made of nice thick Acrylic which is quite nice looking and is a pretty strong material. Once assembled it looks good and perfectly holds a full set of refill ink bottles. Now they are neatly kept all together and are sitting right next to the printer.The assembly was a bit tricky for me as the three separate pieces must be screwed together with fairly tiny screws. I had a hard time aligning the screws (especially the first one) and it took more force than expected to screw them all the way in. I think the included screwdriver might be a tad too big for the small screws. However, after a short time, I successfully completed the assembly and am happy with the results.I hope the material is strong enough to stand up to normal day-to-day use without breaking at the screw holes… it feels fairly solid so we'll see how well it holds up over time.
